To register your vehicle in New South Wales, cars under five years old require an eSafety check (pink slip) to ensure your vehicle meets safety requirements prior to renewal of registration. Older cars that have had their registration lapse require a Blue Slip inspection.

Vehicles also require Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance prior to registration. This is also known as a Green Slip.
